Today marks the start of Single Working Women’s Week 2016. Created by the Single Working Women’s Affiliate Network, this campaign is a salute to the efforts of single ladies in employment everywhere.
The organisers recommend that you: “Take a single working woman to lunch or dinner. Or take out her garbage. Or run an errand for her. Or ask her just how you can help. She’ll appreciate you thinking of her. Tell her it’s her official week and, if she can manage it, she should take some time off and relax. Everybody else has holidays, right? This week, every year, single women do, too.”
Single Working Women’s Week runs from July 31 to August 6 2016. Find out more about the campaign here. LLY
