About Time Magazine’s first entrepreneurial festival began last night with a ‘How to build an incredible food brand’ panel event featuring the women behind Pip and Nut, Livia’s Kitchen and Co Fro amongst others.

And there’s still lots more to come from About Tomorrow 2018, curated by About Time Magazine editor Angelica Malin, and deputy editor Alicia Grimshaw. Events focussed on changing careers, startup basics, successful freelancing and health and wellbeing are scheduled throughout February and March at different Work.Life spaces across the capital.

“I’ve struggled, during my own business life, to find female mentors, women that can raise me up, advise me, support me, show me the way,” says Angelica. “We need female mentors. We need a female support network. We need strong women in this world now, more than ever.

“I can’t tell you the amount of business panel events I’ve sat on as the only woman. This month, we’re looking at the work and achievement of women everywhere – there are so many amazing female-owned business, female entrepreneurs and career high flyers in the UK, and it’s about time we celebrated them.”
