theSkimm is the news and lifestyle tool for female millennials that’s won over the likes of Oprah, Sarah Jessica Parker and Shonda Rhimes.

With a firmly established newsletter and app to its name, the brand has now created a career advice podcast called Skimm’d From the Couch.

Delivered to listeners in weekly instalments, the podcast will feature interviews with successful women who’ll be sharing the highs and lows of their journeys.

In an email exchange with Glamour Magazine, theSkimm co-founders Carly Zakin and Danielle Weisberg, said: “You can expect real stories from women who are leaders in their fields, not just the flashy, success headlines we’ve all heard about. We get into the reality of starting a business, learning how to embrace failure, and recognising when to take the advice of those around you and when to trust your gut. The stories and advice are relatable, funny, and honest.”

New episodes of Skimm’d From the Couch will be released every Wednesday and the first features an interview with Whitney Wolfe Heard, CEO of dating app Bumble. Listen here.
