Virgin Media Business and Women in Business NI have joined forces in what’s being described as “a merging of powerful thinking”. Women in Business is the largest network of female entrepreneurs in Northern Ireland, so the Virgin Media partnership will be a way for them to better educate and connect with businesswomen while exploring the ways its members can utilise digital technology to propel their brands.

Commenting on the partnership, Roseann Kelly, chief executive of Women in Business, said: “It has been proven that a gender-diverse work force is beneficial for both individuals and organisations.Virgin Media Business has recognised this and is committed to addressing gender representation and supporting women in the workplace.

“Working in partnership with Virgin, our organisation can facilitate best practice, offer market-leading communications and connect businesses to support growth in what is set to be an exciting and successful year for Women in Business.”

Seamus McCorry, Virgin Media Business’ head of sales and pre-sales in Northern Ireland, added: “We don’t believe in girl jobs and boy jobs – just job opportunities for everyone, regardless of gender.”
