Mercer, the world’s largest human resources consulting firm, has announced the launch of its new initiative, When Women Thrive in Media and Entertainment, which will champion gender equality, representation and focus on the needs of women in the industry.


“Women and girls around the world pay attention to what is said and done in film and television,” says Pam Jeffords, Partner with Mercer. “By amplifying women’s voices — in front of the camera, behind the camera, and behind the scenes — we’re sending a powerful message about the changes needed to break the gender-parity impasse.”

The campaign will kick off with an event in Los Angeles on March 8th, International Women’s Day.
