The Dubai Mall, one of the world’s largest shopping centres, has announced its partnership with the Dubai Institute of Design and Innovation (DIDI) which will give young female fashion designers an entrance point into the industry by way of a full four-year Bachelor of Design scholarship.

A statement from DIDI reads: “Created to empower women in design and innovation, the scholarship will give you the opportunity to change the face of design in the MENA [Middle East and North Africa] region and beyond.”

The lucky scholarship winner will be announced at the end of the mall’s International Women’s Month campaign which runs until March 31st.

The closing date for applications is June 28th.
