House of CB is the women’s fashion retailer whose items have been worn by some of the world’s most influential celebrities including Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez and the Kardashians.

Conna Walker, the force behind the fashions, sat down with Fashion Bomb Daily founder, Claire Sulmers, to talk about the evolution of the brand, revealing how she took House of CB from an eBay site to opening multiple stores in the UK as well as stateside in less than a decade.

“Originally I started when I was 17 and I just needed to make some money,” she says of her motivation behind creating the brand which was then named CelebBoutique.

When asked how she found the courage to start her own business, Walker replied: “I wasn’t scared to fail.

“About a year in, I was still at school and I would be packaging orders before I left for school. I just evolved with the brand and grew with it, and I think by doing it like that I had time to grow into the role. It didn’t seem as scary because I wasn’t trying to build this big brand.”
